Based on the results of a recent speed study, the Florida Department of Transportation will increase the speed limit on Interstate 10 (I-10) in Escambia County from 55 mph to 60 mph from State Road (S.R.) 297 (Davis Highway) to west of S.R. 95 (U.S. 29) beginning Friday, March 28.
Maintenance activities may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling.
